Airsoft: Men and Guns

Nowadays, airsoft games provide men and women alike a great form of exercise and at the same time unlimited fun. The principle of airsoft gaming is quite similar to paintball. However, airsoft games are played with higher intensity, teaming, as well as strategy. The use of airsoft guns mainly depends on the type of game and their uses.

Today, there are numerous varieties of airsoft  guns available in the market. They primarily vary in fire rate, reliability, and pellet velocity. Most of them can belong to any of the 3 main categories such as spring action, electric gas, and gas powdered airsoft guns.

I happen to know few friends who find airsoft to be one of their most loved sports. They are not boys…but they are awesome men who are professionals. For them, playing airsoft is not just for the sake of holding the biggest guns with the latest upgrades. Its how they use them and how they play the game.

In fact, there’s more to airsoft than just guns and gears, its about showing ones real character, valor, and honesty.

My Childhood and Comfort Food

"My Personal Comfort Food"

Chicken and Pork Afritada

Foods we have loved and tasted during our childhood years, are foods which offers the best comfort whenever we are down and upset with something especially now that we are all grown up. We would return home cook for ourselves..or better yet..have mom, dad, or sister cook for us the best hearty meal!

As a woman, i find food to be the most honest comforter in the world. I know some of them makes me fat but they always remain true with how they taste and how they make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. For the past 24 years now, i have always and will always be grateful for the wonderful recipes my mama, papa, and sister cooked for me. I have learned so many things from them.

One of the best hearty meals our mom used to cook for us was the “Afritada“!  This is a Filipino dish wherein pork and chicken are cooked together with potatoes and carrots and then simmered in thick tomato sauce. It tastes a little sweet, sour, and spicy which i really love. Though some may not enjoy eating this dish, i find it very warm and comforting. This has been part of our weekly dinner when we were young.

For me, comfort foods refers to delectable treats we used to eat when we were young. And home-cooked meals we used to love during our childhood years will always be the best and simplest meals we will ever cherish for years and years to come.

Now that I have shared my own comfort food…what’s yours?
